Steps to Install Chrome OS with Play Store Support
Firstly, download the Linux Mint Cinnamon Image from here.
Now download the Rufus, so that it can create a USB flash drive.
After that download the official chrome recovery image. For 4th Gen Intel Cpu Rammus is the best. So, press CTRL+F. A dialogue box will open and enter the word Rammus in it. the website will take you to the word. Install the latest version, i.e. 80.
Now download the brunch file. look for the stable brunch file and click on the assets drop down and download the ‘tar.gz’ file.
At last install the install.sh file and when you save the file name it as ‘install.sh’.
Install Chrome OS on PC With Play Store Support
Step 1: plug your USB drive and select the Linux Mint Cinnamon image device to your device and click start.
Step 2: Click select and then Start. Press Okay and for all the processes they begin.
Step 3: After the Rufus is done with flashing your USB. Create a Chrome OS folder on the USB flash drive.
Step 4: Then cut-paste the install.sh file to the Chrome OS folder.
Step 5: Extract the brunch zip file to the brunch folder.
Step 6: Now put all the extracted files to the Chrome OS folder.
Step 7: Do the same with the Rammus Zip file but before pasting open it and rename it as ‘rammus_recovery.bin’
Step 8: Now paste it in the Chrome OS folder.
Step 9: After this Turn off your computer and restart it while pressing the boot key.
Step 10: Check If the boot list option is set to UEFI. If it is set to legacy change it to UEFI.
Step11: Press exit and save changes
Step12: Again press the boot key and choose the boot key option. Choose the USB device.
Step13: Now you will be booted straight into Linux Mint Cinnamon or else you will come across a splash screen, Just choose Start Linux Mint.
Step14: Now you have booted to Linux Mint, the first thing to do is connect to WIFI or Ethernet.
Step15: After that, open the “Home” folder on the desktop and move to the “File System” tab and open the Chrome OS folder.
Step16: After opening it, right-click anywhere on the folder to open the Terminal. Here, type ‘shudo sh install.sh’ and hit enter.
Step17: After all the installation you need to type yes as it is confirming that all the data will lose, do you agree?
Step18: Now go to the start button and turn off the PC.
Step19: Remove the USB Drive and then restart the PC. And there you go with your new Chrome OS is ready for you.
